Rabbit’s Hat is an AI-first company and the home of software craftsmen. We believe AI makes good engineers much faster, and that it is still the engineer’s judgement and care that decide whether software actually works for the people who use it.
Our main service is Forward Deployed Engineering: we embed our engineers inside companies around the world, close to their users and data, to ship production software that solves a specific problem.
Our second line of work is SaaS that makes sense for small and medium businesses in developing countries: affordable, mobile-first, built for slow connections, local languages and local payments. Our flagship SaaS is Jogajog, a member directory and communication platform for organizations. As a CSR activity, we are jointly developing Amanah Ledger, an open accounting platform for charities and interest-free lenders, with Kunujul Akhirah Charitable Trust. Our social-innovation work serves farmers, students and marginalized communities.
Track record
- a2i Service Innovation Fund winner, 2015. Rabbit’s Hat won the Service Innovation Fund of a2i, Bangladesh, for Fosoler Math, Fosoler Hat (ফসলের মাঠ, ফসলের হাট), a crop-field-to-market project. The grant was BDT 1.3 million.
- Technical partner of two more Service Innovation Fund winners: Hater Muthoy Biggan (হাতের মুঠোয় বিজ্ঞান), science education that can be grasped easily, and Bondhu Shikhondi (বন্ধু শিখন্ডি), a platform for the third-gender population of Bangladesh.
